In 2017, there are exactly 40 days from Thanksgiving Day to New Years Day. And with the elimination of the eighth floor display at Macy’s in downtown Minneapolis and Holiday Lights in the Park in Saint Paul, along with the disappointing change from tradition at Holidazzle, more people than ever are looking for new holiday activities. Featured pick: Minnesota Marketplace inside Mall of America
A pop-up shop featuring 20 emerging Minnesota companies is open for the holiday season on the second floor of Mall of America. Minnesota Marketplace includes i like you, Pearson’s Candy, Worker B and many others. The Minnesota Marketplace will stay open through the Super Bowl.

- The students, faculty and staff of Inver Hills Community College in Inver Grove Heights start their Holiday Art Market today. Thirty percent of all sales benefit art scholarships. The sale runs from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. through Friday, December 8 in the Fine Arts Building on campus.
