In 2017, there are exactly 40 days from Thanksgiving Day to New Years Day. And with the elimination of the eighth floor display at Macy’s in downtown Minneapolis and Holiday Lights in the Park in Saint Paul, along with the disappointing change from tradition at Holidazzle, more people than ever are looking for new holiday activities. Featured pick: Noon Year’s Party at Como Park Zoo
Como Park Zoo and Conservatory in Saint Paul has seen wild success with its Noon Year’s Party, now held December 31 and January 1 in Saint Paul. Kidsdance, a kid-friendly DJ, will be there to pump out dance hits, plus there will be crafts, animals, and a countdown to high noon with a beach ball balloon drop. The festivities start at 10:00 a.m. in the Zoo’s Visitor Center.
