Located about two hours from Los Angeles and two hours from San Diego, Palm Springs (PS) is your classic resort town. It’s a place to see and be seen, dating back to the Rat Pack.
Many of the business owners I met who call Palm Springs home came from overpriced and crowded cities in California. They loved PS, and many told me the same tune: they’re anxiously waiting for the next generation of LGBT travelers to discover how great it is. The stereotype that Palm Springs skews an older crowd definitely is true. However, it’s a city where you can choose your own adventure. If you want lay low and relax by a pool, it’s a perfect spot. If you’re looking for nightlife, they got that, too.
