Gerald Dickens, the great-great grandson of Charles Dickens, will perform an one-man show of “A Christmas Carol” on Sunday, December 17 in Minneapolis.
The show will take place in the Historic River Room at the Aster Cafe, an intimate 120-seat venue. The thrust stage will make the show feel like it may have been delivered in London 300 years ago.
The proprietor of the Aster Cafe, Jeff Arundel, has stayed connected to the Dickens family for over two decades; he’s friends with great-grandson Cedric Dickens and a member of the famous Pickwick Club in London, which continues to be a mainstay of the Dickens family today.
