Where you can recycle Christmas lights in Minnesota

At some point, your holiday lights will need to come down. And if they won’t make it until next Christmas, you do have the option to recycle them.

The Recycling Association of Minnesota has a great list of sites that collect Christmas lights year round and during the holiday and post-holiday season.

Hennepin County will recycle holiday lights at drop-off locations in Bloomington and Brooklyn Park. There is no fee.

According to Hennepin County, you can put holiday and string lights in the garbage.
