The wonder of the holiday season is upon us! It’s time to bundle up and head outside to look at Christmas lights.
If you’re looking for a spot the whole family will enjoy, stop by Sam’s Christmas Village and Light Tour in Somerset, Wisconsin. It’s less than 20 minutes east of Stillwater and no more than 45 minutes from the heart of the Twin Cities.
Sam’s is home to more than 16 million Christmas lights. They offer both drive-thru and walk-thru options. I feel that Sam’s is better as a walk-thru experience.
There’s a restaurant on-site that offers food and beverages, along with a place to warm up. Plus, there’s an European-inspired vendor market open on the weekends.
Sam’s offers discounts to Veterans and tickets are cheaper when you buy them online. But why pay for tickets when you can win them! December 15 – 16 are drive-thru, all other nights are walk-thru

Drive-thru tickets: $15, free kids 3 and under
Walk-thru tickets: $25 adults, $20 kids ages 4-10, free kids 3 and under
Members of the military receive admission for $12 (bring your military ID)
