And with the elimination of the eighth floor display at Macy’s in downtown Minneapolis and Holiday Lights in the Park in Saint Paul, along with the disappointing change from tradition at Holidazzle, more people than ever are looking for new holiday activities. Celebrate New Years Eve early…a couple days early. Head to Edinborough Park in Edina for a party from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Edinborough is home to one of the nicest indoor playgrounds in the Twin Cities.

• It’s the last weekend to catch the nationally-touring production of “The Phantom of the Opera.” It’s on stage at the Orpheum Theatre in Minneapolis through December 31.
• Boyz II Men perform a 16+ show tonight at Treasure Island Resort and Casino in Welch. The concert starts at 8:00 p.m.
• Can Can Wonderland in Saint Paul is hosting a Retro Game Show Night, featuring live versions of Let’s Make a Deal, Match Game, Family Feud and The Price is Right. It starts at 9:00 p.m. Additional Retro Game Show Nights take place December 1 and 15.
