From buffalo blue cheese beef sticks to cheddarwurst summer sausage, venison to filet mignon, meat markets (also known as butcher shops) are known for high quality products full of flavor while providing top level customer service.
I took to my Facebook page and asked Minnesotans on Reddit to see which meat market or butcher shop in Minnesota (or western Wisconsin) is their favorite. This list of 17 shops is just a small fraction of many nominated. Find a couple close to you and support locally-owned businesses. Or take a tour and see how you would rank these shops.

I lov Welcome Meats. It is in. Very small town of 700. We travel to go there. We love their different flavored Bratwurst. My favorite isWild rice cranberry. My husband likes philly cheese steak. Their are so many different flavors. We like their summer sausage too. And Maverick dogs are good too.
I’d love to see this done for farmers who provide the meat!!
